Abstract
The installation of a new high-voltage power line in the Netherlands provided an opportunity for a prospective field study to examine the health responses of the local population. This analysis of the subgroup of people living closest to the line identified and characterized five classes of subjects based on trends over time in their beliefs of how harmful the construction might be.
