Abstract

Maladie de Morbihan is a rare complication of rosacea. It is characterised by lymphoedema in the face. The pathogenesis of the disease is thought to be obstruction of lymphvessels, due to fibrosis caused by the chronic (rosaceous) inflammation of the skin. In this case report we present a patient with buldging granulomas in the lymphvessels as a plausible cause for the lymphoedema and thereby Maladie de Morbihan. This has, thusfar, only been described once.
