Abstract

A study by An et al. sheds a novel light on the potential role of histamine 2 receptor (H2R) deficiency in attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), which could be a future therapeutic target of ADHD. This spotlight provides an overview of the current knowledge of the histaminergic system and proposes future directions.
