Abstract

A cervical schwannoma is a benign tumour that usually causes no other complaints than the neck mass itself. Rarely a dumb-bell shaped schwannoma is seen entering the foramen intervertebrale with expansion into the canalis vertebralis. Diagnosis and treatment of such a case are presented and discussed.
