Abstract

In this chapter, the management of a rare cause of adult-onset dystonia will be presented and discussed. Questions about a wide range of relevant aspects will be touched upon in chronological order. After reading the chapter and answering the questions, the reader has an overview of the medical management of dystonia, can obtain evidence for deep brain stimulation (DBS) in rare disorders, and knows the basics of programming of DBS of the internal part of the globus pallidus (GPi) in adult-onset dystonia.
