Abstract

Cryptorchidism, undescended testis, is one of more common congenital anomalies of the urogenital tract in boys. It requires an active management in infancy and early childhood. A panel of experts representing the Polish Association of Pediatric Surgeons elaborated recommendations regarding diagnostic and therapeutic management in boys with cryptorchidism. These practical recommendations are principally aimed to neonatologist, pediatricians, family physicians, pediatric surgeons and urologists.
