Abstract

The authors regret the results section is incorrect in the original publication of this article. The correct is: The addition of the collected serum samples to the STB differentiation medium increased cell proliferation, thereby slightly decreasing the differentiation efficiency compared with the STB medium supplemented with KnockOut serum replacement (Figure 1A-C). Nevertheless, the cells obtained an STB-like morphology (Figure 1B), upregulated STB markers (Figure 1D) and downregulated TSC markers (Figure 1E) compared with undifferentiated TSCs. Between STBs treated with t=0 and t=2 serum samples, no differences were found in morphology (Figure 1B), cell proliferation (Figure 1C), nor expression of STB and TSC markers (Figure 1D,E). The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
