Abstract
In this paper a strong recommendation is given to perform a workplace visit in case of a suspected occupational skin problem by which the influence of the production process on the dermatitis is not clear. A workplace visit gives much information on the factors influencing the course of the dermatitis or can cause allergic contact dermatitis. Above this the cooperation with the occupational physician will be improved.
