Following publication of the original article [1] it was reported that there was an error in the Funding statement. The incorrect and correct statements are given below. The incorrect statement was: This work was supported by the second EDCTP programme as part of the European Union’s Framework Programme for Research and Innovation, Horizon 2020 (ISRCTN71392921).
