"Public Health Genomics is defined as the responsible and effective translation of genome-based knowledge and technologies for the benefit of the population health"
Suzanne Onstwedder is PhD student who researches effective implementation and policy development of genomic technologies for the benefit of public health.
After being educated in biomedical sciences and lab-based research, she further specialized her research activities in translational research and qualitative study approaches.
Combined with her PhD projectory, Suzanne works as junior researcher at the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (Rijksinstituut voor Volksgezondheid en Milieu, RIVM). Here, she mostly works at projects in the field of Public Health Genomics.
