For a comprehensive overview of the research program, go to https://www.earhearingamsterdam.nl. A specific focus of her research is on the assessment of listening effort and daily-life stress using the method of pupillometry. Sophia Kramer initiated and leads the National Longitudinal Study on Hearing (NL-SH; www.hooronderzoek.nl) and coordinated two European Industrial Doctorate (EID) ITN programmes: LISTEN(607373) (2013-2017) and HEAR-ECO (765329) (2018-2021).
