Research interests
As a clinical microbiologist I am interested in preventing and treating infectious diseases and my specialization is in infection prevention and control.
My research focus is (de-)implementation in infection prevention and factors influencing healthcare professionals' and organizations' behaviors.
My research group focusses on conducting both scientific and applied research that is directly embedded in practice and translated into real-world value. Ultimately we strive to improve healthcare quality and patient safety.
