Research interests

My research focuses on cardiometabolic disease (CMD), with a special interest in the prevention of cardiovascular disease (CVD) in people with type 2 diabetes.

Specific topics are:

  • epidemiology of CMD and its complications
  • targeted screening and tailored treatments
  • risk prediction of CMD and its complications
  • social network impact

I prefer to investigate these topics using advanced statisics for longitudinal data when appropriate.
