Personal profile
Research interests
My research focuses on cardiometabolic disease (CMD), with a special interest in the prevention of cardiovascular disease (CVD) in people with type 2 diabetes.
Specific topics are:
- epidemiology of diabetes complications
- social network impact on diabetes
- risk models for diabetes and its complications
- targeted screening and tailored treatments
I prefer to investigate these topics using advanced statisics for longitudinal data when appropriate.
