Research interests
I work in the department of Public and Occupational Health on the LIKE project (Lifestyle Innovations based on youth's Knowledge and Experience).
The LIKE project aims to develop an integral approach to stimulate a healthy lifestyle in 10-14 year old adolescents in a lower socioeconomic, ethnically diverse group, using a participatory systems dynamics approach. LIKE is developed and implemented within the Amsterdam Healthy Weight Programme (AHWP) and works in close collaboration with the municipality and other relevant stakeholders in Amsterdam.
