Personal profile

Research interests

After my PhD thesis in 2015 on anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies (ANCA) associated vasculitis I have remained active in the field of vasculitis. During my nephrology specialization I focused on autoimmune mediated kidney diseases and kidney transplantation. At the moment I have active research projects on ANCA glomerulonephritis, lupus nephritis, IgA nephropathy, IgA vasculitis and kidney transplantation. A subfocus is on monocytes and macrophages in the context of these kidney diseases.
