Personal profile
Research interests
Working as junior researcher (PhD) at the Department of Public and Occupational Health in the Netherlands of Amsterdam UMC, location VU medical center. My research focusses on work participation among individuals with work disabilities.
In my qualitative studies, I explore the experiences of individuals with work disabilities, professionals, policymakers, and employers regarding finding and maintaining employment during the COVID-19 crisis. Additionally, I examine the steps needed to improve work participation for this group.
In my quantitative studies, I utilize administrative register data to analyze employment probabilities for individuals with work disabilities, differences between subgroups, and how this group compares to the non-disabled population. Making use of longitudinal data, I apply difference-in-differences analysis to assess these dynamics.
