Research interests
I am a recent medical graduate, having completed my studies in May 2023. Following graduation, I worked as an ANIOS (resident that is not training to be a specialist) in psychiatry for one year, gaining valuable clinical experience and deepening my understanding of mental health. In May 2024, I embarked on a new journey as a PhD candidate at Amsterdam UMC Research BV. My research is centered on depression and unexplained regression in children and adults with Down syndrome. I aim to enhance the understanding and treatment of these conditions, contributing to better mental health outcomes for this vulnerable population.
