Personal profile
Research interests
I am a PhD student, shared between the Oncogenetics section and the Genome Analysis group within the Human Genetic department. Schooled as an engineer from Delft University of Technology, I now explore CRISPR technology for rapid and point-of-care diagnostics in the clinic, focusing on oncology and prenatal health. For a big part, my research focuses on achieving single-nucleotide precision detection, as well as improving sensitivity. I am collaborating with internal and external parties to hopefully bring this technology closer to the patient for more accessible and cost-effective diagnostics.
