Research interests

Joost Verhoeff is a radiation oncologist and professor of radiotherapy at the Amsterdam UMC. He is head of the Radiotherapy department, where he leads a team of more than 300 highly qualified professionals. He specializes in the treatment of brain tumors, lung cancer, and heart arrhythmias with high-precision radiotherapy. Verhoeff is involved in various clinical trials and research projects to provide the best customized care for each patient. He is a driven and innovative physician-researcher who aims to improve the quality of life and survival rates of cancer patients.
