Research interests
Klinisch epidemioloog B met een verpleegkundige achtergrond en jarenlange ervaring als uitvoerend verpleegkundige, leidinggevende, stafadviseur en onderzoeker. Sinds 2019 ben ik wetenschappelijk onderzoeker met de focus op familieparticipatie en transmurale zorg voor kinderen met een complexe zorgvraag. Ik begeleid verschillende (verpleegkundig) onderzoekers en promovendi. Hoofdaanvrager van verschillende verkregen subsidies: Innovatie Impuls Amsterdam UMC, Stichting Steun Emma, ZonMw en ESPR. Mijn onderwijsactiviteiten bestaan uit het docentschap en bij de universitaire Master Evidence Based Practice in Health Care, het begeleiden van studenten, en de ontwikkeling en uitvoering van interdisciplinaire bij- en nascholingen.
Ik ben binnen het Amsterdam UMC benoemd tot Principal Nurse Educator.
