Personal profile

Research interests

As a clinical epidemiologist with a PhD in medicine and a background in nursing, I focus on the variation in clinical practices and their impact on patient outcomes. My research is centered on critical care, particularly using continuous signal analysis of blood pressure waveforms to enhance evidence-based decision-making by physicians and nurses.

I aim to improve patient assessment during hemodynamic instability through education and development of new tools, using advanced biostatistics to diagnose hemodynamic issues and to detect vascular abnormalities. Additionally, I explore the benefits of a more nurse-driven approach to hemodynamic care, focusing on nursing autonomy and treatment efficiency. My ultimate goal is to bridge clinical practice and methodology to improve patient outcomes.
