Child psychiatrist and experienced psychotherapist; Senior researcher with focus on autonomy, trauma-, attachment- and familiy related interventions.
Research theme: Strengthening the autonomy of psychologically vulnerable children. Projects cover: participation & optimal involvement of young people, promoting mental competence & autonomy, attachment and family interventions, combating (the consequences of) child abuse and neglect and intergenerational transmission of adverse situations.
Strong skills in fundraising, co-supervising PhD students, scientific and clinical practice directed writing, lecturing and clinical education.
