Research interests
My scientific research activities are focused on Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) with special attention to clinical-epidemiological and translational research on the pathophysiology and management of pregnancy in patients with SLE, clinical trials with potential new therapeutic agents for the treatment of SLE, and the development of novel therapeutic strategies to improve course and outcome of pregnancy in SLE.
