Research interests

The main interest of research is the care for invasively ventilated patients. The research will focus on the practice of invasive ventilation, airway care applications and (de-) implementation of ventilation and airway care strategies in critical care.

  1. Effectiveness of routine nebulisation of mucolytic agents and bronchodilating drugs in intubated and ventilated intensive care unit patients (NEBULAE). (granted by Netherlands Organisation for Health Research and Development 2014)
