Research interests

I am conducting research on planetary health and in the field of psycho-oncology.

My work is dedicated towards understanding how adolescents and young adults deal with (information on) the climate crisis and related environmental challenges and how their behavior and social norms on this issue are formed and can be intervened upon.

I also seek to gain insight into the care needs of cancer patients and their closes ones, with a focus on underserved groups (i.e. patients with a migration background).
