Personal profile
Research interests
I graduated in July 2018 from the University of Southampton, England, with a First Class Honours Masters degree, before transitioning to Belgium to pursue my PhD at the KU Leuven. I successfully defended in May 2023 prior to relocating to Sweden as a postdoctoral researcher, to the esteemed group led by Professor Agneta Nordberg at the Karolinska Institutet. I am now a Data Manager at the Department of Radiology, Amsterdam UMC, focussing on integrating, harmonising, maintaining, and enhancing/enlarging our large pan-European preclinical Alzheimer’s Disease cohort in the group of Professor Frederik Barkhof.
Throughout my training, I have focussed on understanding early pathogenesis and risk factors of Alzheimer’s disease (AD) using various techniques, in order to better understand the preclinical phase. My goal has been, and continues to be, to understand these early changes in the continuum to allow for improved risk stratification and risk prediction to allow for intervention prior to symptom onset.
