Research interests
Damiaan Denys conducts psychiatric research into anxiety, impulsive and compulsive disorders. His scientific research is characterised by a translational approach and makes use of clinical psychiatry, philosophy and neuroscience. A particular focus of his research is the development of deep brain stimulation (DBS) for psychiatric disorders such as obsessive-compulsive disorder, depression, addiction and eating disorders.
