Personal profile
Research interests
The research of Dr. Bruno Sovran focusses on studying the role of the microbiome and its metabolites in intestinal health and disease. In this context, Dr. Sovran studies Tryptophan metabolites in early life intestinal failures such as sepsis and Necrotizing enterocolitis in preterm infants, as well as pediatric IBD/IBS and intestinal post-operative complications (anastomotic leak).
