Research interests
1. Research on quality of life and patient-reported outcome measures in different dialysis modalities: in-center hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis en home hemodialysis. We are also investigating good practices for home dialysis, with the intent to overcome barriers for home dialysis and promote the process of shared-decision making.
2. Studies on the results of nocturnal hemodialysis, e.g. on physical performance of dialysis patients.
3. Studies on coronary artery calcification in patients treated with renal replacement therapy (dialysis or transplantation) and the determinants of progression of calcification.
