Research interests

Experienced group leader in virology with special expertise in the HIV/AIDS field. Scientific interests focused on the persistence of HIV-1 reservoir in infected individuals. This viral reservoir is the main obstacle to an HIV-1 cure and my group aims to characterize the reservoir on the cellular and molecular levels, working at the crossroads of virology and immunology.
