Based on reserach findings, my team has developed a variety of practically applicable and widely available products for nursing home professionals. The aim of these products is to translate research findings regarding prevention, diagnosis and treatment on infections in frail older adtuls into practice. Examples of developed products include educational video's, e-Learnings, pockets cards, posters, implementation roadmaps and observation checklists. All products are freely available at the website of UNO Amsterdam (see link below) and are also cross-referenced to by the Dutch Association of Elderly Care Physicians (Verenso) and the national Centre of Expertise for Long-term Care in the Netherlands (Vilans).
