Contraceptives and mental health issues

Description

In recent years I have been invited to several media appearances on contraceptive use and mental health issues. It’s a hot topic. Online conversations stretch from intimate user posts talking about their personal experiences to political debates that are expressions of religious or social beliefs. As a scientist, I believe it’s essential to bring nuance to this debate and to communicate—clearly and accessibly—what the scientific literature and clinical experience actually show.
